Workshop on Circuit theory at the School of Ecology and Conservation, Bangalore

Heterogeneous landscapes working as electrical networks? The circuit theory is a flexible and fast-spreading framework to model the influence of heterogeneous landscape on a broad range of ecological processes using an electrical analogy.

Fordev's PhD student, Charlotte, organized a one day workshop at the School of Ecology and Conservation, GKVK, Bangalore on circuit theory. The workshop introduced the principals of circuit theory and presented various applications, including the case of the pollination service in the Western Ghats. Participants were also able to apply circuit theory to specific research questions and to discuss future use regarding their own research objectives.
